Delete unused apps and free up space (2024)

  1. On your Android device, open Files by Google Delete unused apps and free up space (1).
  2. Tap Menu Delete unused apps and free up space (2) Delete unused apps and free up space (3) Clean Delete unused apps and free up space (4).
  3. If you don't find "Delete unused apps" card, scroll to "Free up more space" card and tap Search for apps.
  4. On the confirmation dialog, tap Continue.
  5. On the “Usage access” screen, tap Files by Google.
  6. Turn Permit usage access on.
  7. You’ll be automatically redirected to Files by Google.
  8. Scroll to “Delete unused apps” card and tap Select apps.
  9. Select the apps you want to uninstall.
  10. Tap Uninstall Delete unused apps and free up space (5).
  11. On the confirmation dialog, tap Ok.
