Microsoft Viva Engage is now generally available? ›

Viva Engage is currently available as an app in Microsoft Teams and will soon replace Viva Engage as the web, mobile, and endpoint experience that introduces new features related to community building, leadership engagement, knowledge sharing, self-expression, and events.

Viva Connections is available in most major languages used in Microsoft 365.

Viva Engage community and conversations features are included in Microsoft 365 and Office 365 plans for enterprise. Viva Engage premium features require a license for the Microsoft Viva suite or Microsoft Viva Employee Communications and Communities.

Current Microsoft Viva status is UP.

Drawbacks of Viva Engage

Adoption Challenges: Since Viva Engage is a relatively new product, its uptake in the business world is not yet widespread. This can pose challenges in finding employees familiar with and actively using the platform.
