"I've tried everything," Mr. Cooper explains. "I've put up signs, confronted people dumping their rubbish, but it feels like a losing battle. The rats are a constant reminder of the problem, burrowing into my fence. It's like a never-ending cycle of repair and damage."
But here's where it gets controversial: Mr. Cooper believes that this issue isn't just an eyesore or a nuisance. He fears for the health and safety of the community, especially the children who walk past his home on their way to and from school.
