Earning an associate’s degree is not hard, according to those who have earned the degree. They said its ease or otherwise depends on the seriousness and dedication with which you tackle your studies. One can also say that getting an associate’s degree is easy because the degree does not require you to do an external examination before you get admitted into colleges and universities; they accept the transcripts of your associate’s degree for admission. But for a poor student, getting an associate’s degree can be hard, especially for high school graduates unprepared for college and need to take developmental or remedial courses before becoming eligible to take college-level courses. So, whether earning an associate’s degree is hard depends on where the student is coming from and how seriously he takes his studies.
