Dragonflight Trial Limitations (2024)

Common Problems

• Can't level past 60 on my characters.
• Can't play my Dracthyr anymore.

From Thursday, May 4, through Monday, June 5, you will be able to explore Dragon Isles without upgrading your account with the Dragonflight expansion!

Restrictions

During the trial you can:

• Travel to Dragon Isles with any of your level 60 characters
• Play the Dragonflight campaign up until the quest "A Charge of Care"
• Create your first Dracthyr Evoker without limitations
  • Creating additional Dracthyr Evokers is subject to limitations

You cannot:

• Access characters above level 20 without active subscription or game time on the WoW account
• Level your character past level 60
  • However, all earned experience will be banked, and once your account is upgraded with the Dragonflight expansion, all banked XP will be applied to your character to level it up (up to level 70)
  • You can mouse-over your Experience bar in the game to check your banked XP
• Access your characters above level 60 with exception of your Dracthyr Evoker from the previous Dracthyr Trial Promotion

Once the trial period is over you may continue to play your characters as normal, but you must upgrade your account with the Dragonflight expansion to continue playing your Dracthyr Evoker.

Note: This promotion not available for Wrath and WoW Classic, or WoW accounts that have never had game time.
