BLACKPINK’s “How You Like That” MV has officially broken YouTube records!
On June 29, Varietyreportedthat BLACKPINK’s 24-hour view count for “How You Like That” was confirmed by YouTubeto be86.3 million.YouTube also stated that“How You Like That” had set the record for the most-viewed YouTube Premiere with 1.66 million simultaneous viewers at its peak.
BLACKPINK was reported to have broken these records earlier this week, but with unofficial numbers. YouTube’s official view count often differs from view counts that are measured in real time.
The previous official record holder was BTS, with “Boy With Luv”previously holdingthe official record for most views within 24 hours (74.6 million views) and “ON” previouslyholding the official record for most-viewed YouTube Premiere (1.54 million concurrent viewers). Prior to BTS, BLACKPINK’s “Kill This Love” had held the record for most views within 24 hours.
